  Guidellines for St Elizabeth Softball Games

The season are upon us and we are asking coaches, parents, players, and visiting fans to help us stay in compliance with fire safety laws. To that end we are requesting that all vehicles be parked either in front of the school or behind the rectory on game days. Last season we had a number of games where the driveway was gridlocked. The driveway is a fire lane, and the parked vehicles provided a significant safety risk in the event that emergency vehicles are needed on the field.
  • Boosters - We will allow a Booster Club Vehicle to be parked up by the fields to facilitate sales of Booster items drinks snacks etc. This will be the ONLY vehicle that can remain on the field for any extended period of time on game days..
  • Coaches Game Day we understand that you have equipment that is challenging to get to the field. We will allow one coaches vehicle per team access to the field to drop off gear, but that vehicle needs to be parked in front of the school or behind the rectory as soon as the equipment is off loaded and can return at the end of game to be reloaded. To the best of our abilities we will try to accommodate visiting teams with the same courtesy. Important that gate be closed when coaches do their drops to prevent the flood of cars down to the back of the field if gate is left open. Should we have problems with traffic on game days we will be forced to secure the gates and provide no access to coaches for future games. We are requesting that coaches access the field from the cafeteria gate.
  • Coaches Practice Days for the same above reasons if coaches wish to park on the field for practices that is permissible players and fans should not park here on practice dates. This would mean on practice days there is one vehicle parked up on the field.
  • We appreciate you understanding. This is first and foremost a safety issue, but the traffic on the newly establish Bermuda, and the effect of multiple vehicles on the hillside leading to the fields is also a concern.

  Guidelines for Ursuline Field:
  • This is a brand new facility located at the rear of the campus just past the basketball gym.
  • Park in designated areas only. Parking by the gym or the St. Ursla building should be adequate.
  • No sunflower seeds or gum on the field. Trash cans are located in the dugouts as well as next to the stands. Concessions will not be available, but there is a soda machine. No water is available.
  • Only coaches and players are allowed in the batting cages.
  • Clean up all trash before leaving.
  • Restrooms are located on the outside of the St. Ursla building northeast of the field. It is about a 100 yard walk to the restrooms.
  • All cars should exit the campus through the northeast exit past the softball field.
