The 6th Annual Wesley Jackson All-Star game was a tale of two halves. The East jumped to a quick 22-6 halftime lead on a cold night at Bishop Dunne's Falcon Field. However, jet lag must have set in on a squad which saw many of its' players play late on the previous evening. The West took advantage and dominated the second half en route to a 30-22 victory. The West has controlled the series, winning for the 5th time in the 6 year history of the game.
The Christ the King trio of Hampton Hughes, Matt McCarney, and Ross Schneider led the offensive attack for the West. Deric Valdez, of the Highlands, also had many nice runs. Chris Nolan and Jared Roberts starred on defense for the Left Coast bunch. On the East side, Joe Sawa, Austin winslow, and Sam Wernick were the big offensive threats while Darrell Glasco, Tom Scott, and Cav Koch had big games on defense.
